This is another picture I did as an experiment with gold paper. The size of it is 8"x10" and the strips are 1/8". Twisting the paper is a bit tricky as it is not very flexible. But these pictures does not take time as the others I have quilled but need very steady fingers lots of patience and a sharp eye too. I hope to do one in silver before I start on a new hobby. My home is getting crowded with all these hobbies of mine but this is my life and as long as my fingers could take it I will go on with it

Quilled Golden Swan
The quillings of Yulia Brodskaya inspired me to do something different. So I did this Swan. The picture is a traditional one which is sometimes woven in gold thread on the bridal costume in my country. I drew it to suite my style and used gold paper to quill it. The strips were all quilled with 1/8" paper and is framed in a 8"x12" golden frame.

The little elf of the garden in the forest
This is a gift to a little friend who admires my craft work very much. The picture is 12"x10" and is quilled with 1/8" A4 coloured paper. The little flowers and leaves are all quilled with 1/16" strips. The back ground forest is done with coloured saw dust. It took me about 15 hours to finish.
